NOMINEE DIRECTOR & SHAREHOLDER

MANAGING YOUR COMPANY WITH A TRUSTED DIRECTOR

It is mandatory to have a Singapore resident director who is a citizen or a permanent resident to meet the statutory requirements and to assist in your company establishment in Singapore.

We provide a nominee director for your company at the cost of only $3,000 per year.

NOMINEE SHAREHOLDER

The reasons for using Nominee Shareholder service may be diverse but they are mostly to do with asset protection against third parties or confidential participation in other companies.

We provide a nominee shareholder service at the cost of only $1,200 per year.

AUTHORISED BANK SIGNATORY

Many foreign owners manage their Singapore business remotely.  However, this is not cost efficient or convenient. They have to let their local support staff operate the bank account which gives them some degree of “uncertainty” on how well the bank transactions are handled.

At Ecovis, we provide authorized bank signatory service to solve your concern.
Contact us to find out more on how we could assist you.

LICENSE APPLICATION

Ecovis also provides support for various licenses applications, such as

  • Application for import permit
  • Registration for Goods & Services Tax
  • Application for trademark
  • Application for Major Exporter Scheme (“MES”)

LEGALISATION OF DOCUMENTS

NOTARISATION

Notarisation is the act of a notary public authenticating by his signature and official seal, certifying the due execution in his presence of a deed, contract or other document.

LEGALISATION

Legalisation is the authentication by the embassy or consulate, located in the country of the notary public, of the country in which the document is to be used. For example, a document executed in Singapore for use in Germany would be legalised by the German Embassy in Singapore.

The legalisation process could be time consuming as the documents may require endorsement and authentication by varies of authorities, such as a notary public, Singapore Academy of Law, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the embassy.

As a legalised document is normally requested for very important use, engaging a professional firm that has good experience helps to minimize the risk of errors which might result in rejection of documents in foreign countries. Contact Ecovis for help.

WORK PASS & VISA

Singapore Employment Visa

Employment Pass (EP) is a type of work visa issued to foreign professional employees, managers, and owners/directors of Singapore companies.   The Employment Pass (EP) is normally issued for 1-2 years at a time and renewable thereafter.

An EP enables you to work and live in Singapore, and travel in and out of the country freely. Possessing an EP also opens the door for potential Singapore permanent residence in future.
